Olivia loves to take care of the family. She is going to be a great big sis.
Here are some commen phrases at home. Unfortunately, it's only Swedish these days.
-Mamma, har du ont i magen? Oj, oj är du ledsen? Nä men, det är ingen fara. Vill du få en kram?
- Mamma, kan jag få en kram?
- Jag ska bara sticka lite. Bara lite. Nej, det har inte ont.
- Jag måste, jag måste bara, hämta en grej.
- Är det ägg? Nej, det är inte ägg. (While pretending to read ingredients on any package)
- Bajs bor i rumpan.
- Är det mörkt? Nej, det är inte mörkt. Regnar det? Nej, det inte regnar.
- Är det rätt? Är det rätt?
- Det sitter perfekt. Helt perfekt. (Skor)
Allt som är högt och stort är spännande.
Olivia loves short stories now and even improvises her own. Wants to joke and laugh all the time but still very picky and stubborn. Giving up the naps has been the hardest transition this summer which accounts for the main tantrums. Otherwise, she is very mindful and a fantastic listener. She loves kisses and hugs (my fault for hugging her so much) and actually tries to hug other kids too much.
Potty trained herself at exactly 2.5 yrs. I just started leaving the diaper off. She wouldn't even tell me when she would go. Now she even locks the door on us.
She is super fun but really needs playtime with kids more than me :(
